Our Director Mike Tosetto and Senior Animator Zoe Crocker, have been invited to speak at this year’s The Design Conference, Brisbane’s annual event for creatives.

On the first day of the conference, Thursday June 9 2022, Mike and Zoe will give two presentations. A Keynote Talk about Never Sit Still’s culture and creativity, which will be followed by a Process Showcase, where they’ll deep dive into the process behind the Splash Screen for the latest version of Adobe After Effects.

Our entire studio recently attended TheNode, Australia's dedicated motion conference that takes place annually in Melbourne.

This was a great excuse to close the studio, fly interstate with the team, and make the most of two very inspiring days followed by an after pary at on the banks of the Yarra.

Node Ident 2021 winner! Never Sit Still's James Vallance.

The Node is Australia's leading and dedicated national motion design conference, and hosts a themed ident competition every year.

This year's theme was 'Sense' and we are thrilled that James won Best Ident!

The splash screens of Adobe's Creative Cloud software are seen by users every single time they launch a program. So when Adobe commissioned us to create the splash screen for the new version of After Effects, we jumped at the opportunity.

We feel privileged to have contributed to this release of Creative Cloud, showcasing our creative skills using Adobe's creative tools.

Our Founder and Director, Mike Tosetto, will be running a Masterclass on Freelancer Tips at The Node this year. Over the last ten years, Mike freelanced at many studios before starting his own practice in 2015, which has since grown to a size of 11 full time team members.

We're incredibly proud to have picked up the inaugural Orb Award at The Design Conference in Brisbane for Best Small Agency.

This award is different from others because it's about much more than creative output. This award recognises culture, D&I, gender equality, business strategy, work hours, staff salaries, even financials.

All these factors combined, along with our awesome team of ten, is what makes Never Sit Still a successful studio, and it's rewarding to be acknowledged for more than our work.

The AICP Post Awards honor the best post production work of the year, and they take place across rotating locations between Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.

Awarded artists are recognised for their contribution in specific crafts within the overall categories of editorial, audio mixing, sound design, color grading, graphic design, visual effects and finishing.

This year our Director, Mike Tosetto, was invited to be a judge for the Type Design & Title Animation category.

Never Sit Still were invited to run a motion program for third year students, as part of the highly regarded Visual Communications degree at UTS.

Zoe Crocker and Melany Webster ran a six week course, based on an industry brief for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, teaching students about the importance of motion design for brand, along with conceptual skills to help them develop in this ever growing field. 

Zoe Crocker from Never Sit Still is one of three speakers at AGDA's webinar, Starting Out and Standing Out. The speakers at this event are all last year’s finalists for the Emerging Designer of the Year Award.

We’re super proud of our incredibly talented motion designer, Zoe Crocker, who was named a finalist at this year’s AGDA Awards.

Zoe joined us in 2018, following graduation from her UTS Vis Comm degree. With her impressive illustration, design and animation skills, we’re stoked to call her our own.

We're overwhelmed with the results of this year’s AGDA Design Awards. We picked up our very first Pinnacle, the highest accolade a jury can bestow on a piece of work.

From our seven finalists, we also took home two Distinctions, which is a huge accomplishment that we’re incredibly proud of.

Zoe Crocker brings her passion for illustration and animation to Adobe APAC Live!

She shares her process, colouring and texturing techniques before bringing an illustration of hers to life with simple animations using Photoshop and After Effects.

Never Sit Still were proud to be involved with Adobe’s APAC conference for the third year running. Previously called Make It, this year Symposium combined both Creative and Digital Experiences audiences for the very first time.

Once again, we worked on the opening titles to kick start the day. And our Director, Mike Tosetto, was invited to speak on 2 different stages across the 2 day event.

Motion has become a core element of progressive brands, where static identities are no longer enough in the digital age. Our Director, Mike Tosetto, is taking his motion workshop around Australia with AGDA.

The workshops take place in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne between April and June 2018.
